Here’s a nice website that claims to have 25,000 free clip art you can use for your projects. What great about Public Domain Clipart is its direct and easy navigation. You wont find anything fancy but its a great site to have when you need something in a hurry. I love the huge collection

The National Archives did some site renovation and has made it easier for researchers to get all kinds of media from the American Civil War. There’s a great deal of content you can use to show life during this time period. My favorite are the pictures showing civilian activities such as sports and construction.

I recently saw this site Old Postcards from Brazil which has a huge gallery of rare postcards from Brazil, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. Looking through postcards is a great way to see how like was during that era and also a great way to see how scenery changes through time.
