I’m always looking for some illustrations for my scrapbooking projects. Here is a website that has a great collection of old scan illustrations from public domain books. It also has a great section dedicated to textures and scrapbook making.

Like any government website its filled with tons of information but is just really hard to find. NOAA ( National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration ) is no exception, it contains tons of media you can use for your articles. NOAA has the lastest oil spill data, animation, videos and even high resolution image . Finding it in their website is another story. Here are some simple search terms you can use in Google to find the media your looking for in the NOAA website.
