Findsounds.com is simply a search engine for sounds across the internet. The sounds in the findsounds.com search engine are not public domain sounds. They are definitely owned and copyrighted by the people who have them stored on their servers.
Findsounds is a great tool for finding sounds but it is a mistake to tell your visitors that they are all public domain sounds.
